To Crave or Not to Crave

I have been paying close attention to how cravings work in the last few days. While I focused on different projects, I noticed that my mood and enthusiasm could impact the way I eat, or to be precise, the food I am interested in devouring in those particular moments. My overall diet is quite healthy and balanced, but momentary emotions, seem to initiate what it seems to be a wave.

Researching on this topic I came across the fantastic content from neuroscientist and author of Foodist, Darya Rose. Superb tips of food mindfulness and the understanding that a craving is temporary. The key factor is to understand we should not be judgemental with ourselves but become more mindful and present regarding our own food desires. Notice how we feel in the moment and breath. What brilliant yet simple advice.
