“Kike shows a severe interest in the human interaction with the natural world. He finds passion in not only the places and things aesthetically appealing, but how humans operate and come to terms with those things. His series utilizes ballerinas as a photographic referent, and creates a visual contrast to the setting they are placed within. His photos ask questions, complicating the viewership experience.
